About the Artist
Ray Callicoat grew up with a passion for his art. He attended the Colorado Institute of Art. He has studied and worked with many styles of art, but his favorite is working with his own style which he likes to call “dark fantasy”. He draws for comic book/graphic novel work, cartoons, children’s books, and fantasy artwork. He writes his own stories which he also illustrates the characters and scenes he has created. Much of his work can be found at his website named after one of his stories, Nuclear Rock City.com. He also works in graphic design, layout, and illustration.

When he’s not drawing and creating his art, he likes to sing in his original gothic metal band, Grimorium Verium, in Denver, Colorado where he resides. He can be contacted at his e-mail.
