About the Artist
Chris Beetow is a freelance illustrator and educator living in Milwaukee, WI. She obtained an MFA in illustration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has undergraduate degrees in painting and graphic design. Her illustration work has been featured in magazines and books throughout the United States. She is currently an associate professor of illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where her students affectionately call her Professor Creepy.
